Given the current trend, it is hard to deny that the 21st century will be an era of the artificial
intelligence revolution. People say that this revolution will be a game-changer that will fundamentally
change human life and society. There is no guarantee that the AI revolution will be a positive
change for humankind. There are many gloomy prospects, and the public's anxiety and fear are
growing. In the future, human beings and artificial intelligence robots will work together to solve
profound questions, the mysteries of consciousness, the universe, and life. When Artificial Intelligence
Meets Society, a book written in hopes of a future that pursues beautiful ensembles with humans
and artificial intelligence robots, has been published.
 
Chapter one recounts why the IQ of mechanical intelligence should be measured differently from the
IQ of human intelligence and how humans and artificial intelligence coexist. Chapter 2 “Can Robots
Communicate with Humans with Emotions?” describes the robot's ability to communicate with humans
with an emotion. Chapter 3 describes algorithms, big data and analyzes data issues and whether
algorithms will benefit or not. Chapter 4 discusses artificial intelligence as creation and its relationship
to morality and artificial intelligence in legal and ethical aspects. In Chapter 5, the author describes
the changes in human jobs caused by artificial intelligence technology. Chapter 6 compares information
concerns to Big Brother to discuss the risk of information leakage and discusses solutions. Chapter 7,
Solving the Ethical Dilemma of Self-driving Cars, exemplifies the trolley dilemma and presents a shift
in perspective to address this. Chapter 8, “How Artificial Intelligence Saves the Earth,” explains how
artificial intelligence can contribute to cleaner cities in terms of the environment. It also presents
artificial intelligence as one of the solutions for a sustainable future. Chapter 9 discusses political and
ethical relationships with AI and humans and post-humanity based on the SF genre. Chapter 10,
“Post-Humanism, Philosophy of Coexistence,” describes humanism and trans-humanism and explains
the differences.
